    @thepeople1325 So …
    @thepeople1325 So you agree with him that the burned oxygen magically ceases to exist, thus vacuum is created?
    You’re free to believe in whatever you want.

    @darkflames9 No. …
    @darkflames9 No. The fire heats the air inside the bottle (which expands), when the fire is over the air gets colder again and contracts. The egg is pulled inside due to difference of pressure.

    The hot gases from …
    The hot gases from the burning matches are much less dense than the air because the energetic molecules push each other apart. Then as it cools, the molecules come back together again. This results in low pressure inside the bottle. The outside air actually pushes the egg into the bottle because of the pressure difference.

    Explanation in …
    Explanation in short. Fire burns away all the oxygen in the bottle creating a vacuum. But this trick is easy. Sucking the egg back out… Now that would be something :P

    you should have set …
    you should have set the egg on the cap upside right to prevent it from breaking, then you should blow the egg out of the bottle by tipping it sideways, and heating the back end of the bottle to expand the air.

    doing both without breaking the egg = win

    and i disapprove of anything Napoleon Dynamite.
